What does Dr. Lips stand for?

The “Dr.” represents practitioners, the elite of their respective specialties. All “Dr. Lips” providers are certified in a rigorous training program that builds upon their fundamental knowledge of facial esthetics and professional health care qualifications. With exhaustive wellspring of knowledge, Dr. Lips providers maintain cutting edge techniques and methods, providing you with the ultimate lip augmentation.

Dr. Lips are artists.

The “Lips” focuses on the art of the face. Every artist must learn the disciplines that compose a beautiful face, and our lip artists are no exception. For every hour of study of the science of augmentation our providers receive, there is an equal amount of study of the artistic proportions of the lips and the face. Every woman has a unique lip presentation, and identifying yours is the key to achieving optimal results for your lip augmentation.

Is the procedure painless?

Discomfort is usually minimal and brief. Local and topical anesthesia are used to reduce discomfort during treatment.   An icepack may also be used to further reduce discomfort.

How long does the filler last?

Results are dependent on what products are being used. Fillers may last up to 6 months.  Individual results for each product may vary.

How long is the treatment?

Once an initial examination has been conducted and a treatment plan has been created, the entire procedure takes approximately 10 minutes.  No downtime or recovery period is required for the treatment.

lips8Lip Enhancement

Lip enhancement will give you fuller, plumper lips and reduce fine wrinkles around the mouth. Typically, lips will be injected with fillers, hyaluronic acid – semi-permanent materials. Your doctor will decide what treatment and products will give you optimal results.

Oral/Facial Augmentation

Oral/facial augmentation will diminish the prominent creases and folds, bringing back volume and smoothing away facial wrinkles from below the nose to the bottom of the chin. Examples are the nasolabial fold (from the corner of the nose to the outer edge of the lip), Marionette lines, and the mental fold.

Types of Fillerslips3-300x183

Generally, a temporary filler such as cross-linked hyaluronic acid, collagen, or semi-permanent material will be used. Hyaluronic acid is a laboratory-produced filler from a sterile bacterial source. Collagen-produced filler can be from a human or animal source harvesting bank. Semi-permanent material is usually a combination of small plastic or calcium particles that act as a scaffold for tissue support or initiating growth.

Combination Treatment

Treatment of injectable fillers and “botox” have the benefit of producing a longer lasting result. In addition, less filler may be needed to attain the desired cosmetic result.
